Amy Fry received her M.S. in Library & Information Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2003. She also has an M.A. in Art History from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul, MN) and B.A. degrees in English and Art History from Oberlin College.
As the library's Electronic Resources Coordinator, Amy works with library staff, consortia, and information services companies to help the library maintain its subscriptions to hundreds of online databases. She is also a reference librarian, the instruction librarian for the Art Department, and a frequent contributor to the library's blog, the UL News.
Amy's research interests include usage patterns, resource discovery and search behavior related to online resources; electronic resources management models; and website usability. She has published in the journal portal: Libraries and the Academy and blogs for the Association of College & Research Libraries' ACRLog. She chairs an American Library Association MARS division committee and is also a member of the OhioLINK 2.0 Electronic Resources Management Task Force.
