Content Description:  A reproduction of all periodicals, published in the United States before 1801, which could be located. There are 91 titles, including 4 of the most important periodicals from that time, the Columbia Magazine, the American Museum, the Massachusetts Magazine, and the New York Magazine. Subjects include politics and government, slavery, women's affairs, religion, books, and news. Some of the magazines also include stories and poems.
