Musician Josiah Chance

Enlisted 7/2/1861 as Musician, discharged 9/3/1862, enlisted 12/17/1863 as a Bugler in the 7th Ohio Cavalry, discharged 9/13/1864 for promotion, promoted to Captain in 127th United States Colored Troops 9/13/1864, mustered out 10/20/1865, subsequent service in U.S. Army until death in 1885.

Sergeant William Harrison Coon, Company E

William Harrison Coon enlisted as a 35 year old Corporal in Company E, 13th Ohio Volunteer Infantry on June 11, 1861, mustering into service June 26, 1861. Promoted to Sergeant during his service, he was mustered out June 15, 1864.
