Vadae Meekison Correspondence - 1916

September 1916

September 29, 1916

Sept. 29, 1916.

Mrs. George Meekison,
Napoleon, Ohio.

Dear Mrs. Meekison:-

I want to send four or six workers into West Virginia for the week of October 15. Miss duPont has lately seen you and she says that she thinks maybe you would go as one of these workers. The troupe is to be under the control of Miss Raoul who has charge of the Wheeling headquarters. Some of you are to do house to house canvassing. Some of you are to speak on the street and you are all to do what Miss Raoul says. Ohio is to pay the expenses of this troupe and as it has not any money to pay them with we think it is very generous.

Let me know whether you are to be in Wheeling, headquarters 1222 Chapline St., on the morning of Oct. 15.

Cordially yours,
Harriet Taylor Upton
