Date: Early 1950s

View: Looking SSE from Ridge and Thurstin

Special Features: The women's cottage-style housing was laid out in an irregular pattern, to take advantage of some of the only elevated terrain on campus. The 1950s was an era marked by a great deal of construction. Soon to come would be Alice Prout Hall, a women's residence, and the Student Union, which would be slipped in among the trees in the center of this photograph.
