Special Features: During the war years, several locations or structures were added to the campus, including the beginnings of sorority row with three buildings in the northwest corner, Johnston Hospital (near sorority row and Shatzel Hall), the Falcon's Nest (a log cabin structure, beside the outdoor theater), and riding stables, seen in the southeast corner.
