Special Features: This map shows the influence of the wartime military programs on the physical appearance of the campus. Included in the map is the University Airport (at the north end of the campus), a trailer park used as housing for men (just to the west of city property), and cottages (west of the track, in the area of the present Jerome Library). Also shown on the map are proposed sites for additional separate dormitories for men and women, and a proposed science building (where Overman Hall now stands).
