Curriculum Resource Center


The following services are offered in the Curriculum Resource Center (CRC):

Circulation of Materials

Periodicals and most books, except reference, can be checked out for three weeks at the Circulation desk on the first floor of Jerome Library. They should be returned to the first floor Circulation Desk as well. All other non-book materials, located in the CRC multimedia room, can be checked out at the CRC Reference/Circulation Desk for three weeks and they must be returned to the CRC. Ready reference activity books can be used in house,checked out for two hours, or overnight.

  • Pictures/Pamphlets - 3 weeks

Library Instruction

Instructional presentations, orientations and tours are offered in cooperation with instructors of BGSU courses. Contact the CRC at 419-372-2956 to schedule a session.

Reference Services

Information may be requested during posted CRC service hours at the CRC Reference/Circulation Desk. Ask Us at the CRC!

Ellison and Accu/Cut Letter Machines

Instructional materials production and bulletin board creation can be enhanced through the use of the Ellison Letter Machine or the Accu/Cut Die Cutting System. Semester use subscriptions ($2.00 plus tax per semester) are available at the CRC Reference/Circulation Desk. Ellison Letter Machine and Accu/Cut Die Cutting System List

Construction paper is available in a variety of colors for $.05 a sheet or a $2.50 a pack.  Cash or BG1 is accepted.  


           Lamination is now available for only $1.00 per foot.  This 25" laminator is self-service and available anytime the CRC is open.  Cash or BG1is accepted.  


A photocopier is available in the CRC for use with a BG1 card.

Reserve Materials

Materials to be placed on reserve in the CRC may be selected for specific courses by BGSU professors. CRC Reserve materials are located in Room 213 of the CRC. Check out lengths vary.  Contact the CRC for more information at 419-372-2956 or Ask Us at the CRC!

The Children's Book Center

The Children's Book Center (CBC) is a joint venture between the University Libraries of Bowling Green State University (BGSU) and the Cooperative Services for Children's Literature (CSCL). The purpose of the collection is to make exceptional recently published children's books available to northwest Ohio educators and librarians through a variety of forums, including an onsite examination center at the Curriculum Resource Center and an annual book and reader conference. Books that represent a wide variety of curriculum-related topics are continually added to the collection by participating publishers. Books may be reviewed at the CBC or in sessions facilitated by CSCL Board members at northwest Ohio Schools or libraries.
