AYA Austria Assistantships

Graduate assistantships in Salzburg provide a cash stipend (currently $4000 for the year) plus a waiver of instructional fees and out-of-state fees for non-residents of up to 9 credit hours. Graduate Assistant Duties

You may work as a tutor for Bowling Green's undergraduate academic year abroad program, or assist the program director in other program activities or research assignment. You are expected to work approximately eight hours per week.

Bowling Green On-Campus Assistantships

Students who complete their Salzburg year in good standing are usually guaranteed an on- campus assistantship for the following year. Graduate assistantships on the Bowling Green campus include a cash stipend and full instructional fee waivers and out-of-state fee waivers, if applicable, for the academic year and the following summer.

Assistantships for Dual Degree Students

Financial assistance is available for a period of three years for dual degree students in the form of fee waivers and teaching or research assistantships both in Salzburg and on campus.

On-Campus Assistant Duties

You may teach a German course, serve as a research assistant to one of the faculty, or provide development service to the department.
