Curriculum Vitae

      I am an Associate Professor of Psychology at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio.  I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working with Donald Baucom.  I completed my Clinical Internship at the University of North Carolina Hospital.  Also, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship in cardiovascular behavioral medicine at Duke University Medical Center working under James Blumenthal and Andrew Sherwood.

      I am married (Wendy) and have 3 small children: Nathan [11], Bethany [8], Hannah [6].

      My labs' ongoing research includes weight loss and weight loss maintenance interventions that apply a stepped-care approach to the treatment of obesity.  Our research also focuses on the psychological, behavioral, and physiological predictors of successful weight loss and maintenance.
