Research Interests: Overweight and obesity. Weight loss interventions. Social determinants of eating behavior and physical activity (social norms, social reinforcement, social comparison, matching behavior). Weight maintenance and weight loss interventions that incorporate psychoeducation in self-compassion, mindful eating, personality orientations, attachment patterns, and social factors that impact health. Weight-maintenance interventions for college students. Weight-loss interventions for family systems and couples.
