ITS - Telephone Services
ITS has recently started a project to replace the Avaya phone system with a new Cisco Voice over IP (VoIP) phone system. The fourth phase of this project involves swapping the old Avaya phones in offices with the new Cisco phones. For your reference a listing of phone moves to be by building by date is provided for your reference. These upgrades will not include Call Centers until a date this fall.
Information Technology Services has management and operational responsibility for the University's telephone switch. Voicemail is available for all BGSU extensions and long-distance rates are $.10 per minute for all calls.
The Operator Services area provides telephone directory services for the campus. The Operator service is available
- Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. - Midnight
- Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
