If you use a University Owned Windows Computer...

  1. Features Outlook and your shared drive that require your BGSU Password to access information will require a restart of your computer to start working again.
  2. If your machine boots to the gray PGP screen after it starts, you will need to enter your old password the first time you log in. Afterwards, your password will automatically be updated for PGP.

If you use a University Owned Macintosh Computer...

  1. You will need to restart your machine to reset the programs on Mac that use the BGSU Password. Once you log in you will be asked to update the "KeyChain" after logging on. To confirm the update, you will need to enter your old password one time, or the password used to log into the machine if it is different from your BGSU Password.
  2. You will need to enter your log on password again when prompted by Entourage or Outlook to update the keychain as well.
  3. If your machine boots to the gray PGP screen after it starts, you will need to enter your old password the first time you log in. Afterwards, your password will automatically be updated for PGP.

If your phone receives e-mail from BGSU...

  1. Your phone may prompt you to enter a new password for the account the first time you attempt to check your mail. If so, enter your new password.
  2. If you are never prompted for a new password and you are not getting any new messages, you will need to remove and add the account again using the guides on this page.
