The Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program provides qualified high school students the opportunity to take college courses. Students who participate in this program receive college credit, which may also fulfill high school requirements, if approved by the student's home school district.
The state assumes the full cost of tuition and textbooks for PSEOP Option B, making this option popular with parents and students. The credits earned at BGSU may transfer to other Ohio colleges and universities, giving students a head start on their undergraduate degree. The High School College Credit Program and PSEOP Option A are also available, both of which are funded by the parent/student.
To ensure maximum benefit to the student, a close working relationship is necessary among the student's local school district, parents or guardians, and BGSU.
