BGSU bids farewell to retirees

A number of administrative and classified staff members have retired since last fall. Those who retired this calendar year will be honored at a December tea in Mileti Alumni Center.

Administrative staff who have retired include:
In October, Gail Richmond, coordinator of acquisitions, University Libraries, and Anita Knauss, director of marketing and promotions, Continuing & Extended Education.

On Jan. 1, Ann Bowers, interim director, Archival Collections.

In February, Margaret Hancock, manager of student immigration services, International Programs.

In March, Barbara Erisman, associate director, University Dining Services.

On Aug. 1, Joyce Blinn, assistant director, Study Skills Lab.


Classified staff who have retired and their date of hire include:
In October, Mark Miller (’85), BGSU Firelands.

In November, Diane Petteys (‘84), undergraduate secretary, philosophy, and Sandra Perry (‘74), University Bookstore.

In January, Gloria Jane Trumbull (‘69), Environmental Programs; Janice Veitch (’74), Information Technology Services; Susan Green (’85), Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Sica Walbolt (’77), Facilities Services.

In February, Helen Long (’02), Public Safety, and Diane Whitmire (’70), Faculty Senate.

In March, Sheryl Sabo (’67), College of Education and Human Development, and Janice Kiehl (’72), Athletic Development.

In May, Helen Sillaman (’80), Facilities Services, and Patricia Patton (’93), Parking Services.

In June, Larry Blausey (’75), Kaye Boucher (’74) and Sandra Mellot (’87), all Facilities Services, and Lois Luoma (’82), University Libraries.

On Aug. 1, Deborah Browne (’78), Facilities Services, and Bonnie Bess (’78), College of Musical Arts.
