Agnes Hooley , 92, professor emeritus of physical education and recreation, died Oct. 5 in Gibsonia, Pa. A faculty member from 1954-77, she played an important role in the creation of BGSU’s recreation major, in 1972, and served as curriculum coordinator for the recreation major and as the first chair of the then-Recreation and Dance Division. She was also a former president of the Ohio Association of Health, Physical Education and Recreation.

Z. Michael Nagy , 64, professor emeritus of psychology, died Nov. 2 in Oxford, Ohio. Nagy was a BGSU faculty member from 1970 until his retirement in 1997.

Richard Allgeier , 61, who had taught psychology courses at BGSU, died Nov. 11 in Bowling Green. Allgeier was former director of the Wood County Mental Health Clinic.
