From preschoolers to adults, Bowling Green State University offers a wide range of activities to make summer fun and productive. Baseball

The Black Swamp Baseball Tournament, a team tournament for ages 11-14, draws teams from the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. This year's tournament will be held from June 27-30.


Basketball

Point Guard College Essentials will be held from July 9-13.

Falcon Millionaire - A Financial Boot Camp for Savvy Kids!

Falcon Millionaires is a week-long financial literacy day camp held at Bowling Green State University. This camp teaches the importance of personal finances. The curriculum is aligned with the middle grades content standards in financial literacy and career development as mandated by the Ohio Department of Education.

Students must be entering 8th grade in Fall 2013 to attend.

From Farm to Fitness: Eat Healthy, Be Healthy

June 24-28, 2013, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Today's middle schoolers don't fit a particular type.  They range from elite athletes to experts on the latest technology.  All tweens needs are different!  To help them stay active and healthy regardless of their fitness level, we have developed a summer camp directed towards empowering tweens to make healthy eating and fitness choices for a lifetime.

BGSU/New York Voices Vocal Jazz Camp

The Bowling Green State University NEW YORK VOICES Vocal Jazz Camp is your opportunity to work, sing, share with, and learn from the members of the foremost vocal jazz quartet of our time in an intense 6-day workshop setting. Their career now spans 25 years and has brought multiple Grammys and critical acclaim around the world. The camp is for ages 14 and up and will be August 5-11. Concerts every evening open to the public.

Summer Kids Camp

Department of Recreation and Wellness

Children ages 5-12 can spend their summer days swimming, rock climbing, ice skating and doing lots of other fun and instructive activities at our Summer Kids Camps. Each weeklong session has a different theme but all make use of BGSU's great recreational facilities.

Learn to Swim

The University offers private, semi-private and small-group lessons in swimming at the Student Recreation Center Cooper Pool.

We offer swim lessons for all people age six months through adult and all skill levels from beginning to advanced swimmers taught by fully certified American Red Cross Water Safety Instructors.  View upcoming lesson dates.


Speech Intelligibility and Language & Literacy Enrichment Program for Preschoolers

July 1 - July 26, 2013, M/W/F, 8:30-11:30 a.m.

The BGSU Speech and Hearing Clinic's summer program will improve speech intelligibility and expressive language, and stimulate early literacy skills in preschool-age children. Eligible children will benefit from: hearing screening, speech/language assessment, individual/group treatment, large/small group activities. Program is for children 3-4 1/2 years old; must be toilet trained.

Caregivers will be offered: information sessions about how to facilitate speech and language development in children.

Intensive music camps for high school and junior high school students

Falcon Volleyball Position Camp

Monday, July 22, 2013 from 6-9 p.m.

The Position Camp is a mini-camp designed for the boys and girls interested
in specialized skill training. Each camp is geared for the beginning,
intermediate and advanced level player looking to specialize in a specific
position. Players will be grouped by position and skill/experience level.
This camp is a one-day (one session) training camp.

Cost: $60; Faculty/Staff Discount: $20 off

Falcon Volleyball Competition Team Camp

July 23-25, 2013

The Competition Team Camp session provides teams (Varsity and JV) the
opportunity to train together, compete in drills, scrimmages and tournament
play before their school season begins. Teams attending must have their own
coach present and will be provided court time for practice, drills and
scrimmages. Bowling Green State University volleyball staff will provide
lectures/lessons prior to the start of each session.
Cost: $275/camper
