Communication, Journalism and Mediachanging the world with words

From one-on-one interactions to communication through mass media, we all engage in communicating with others on a daily basis. We continually consume images and written materials, but seldom do we stop to think about how communication affects how we view the world or about the central role communication plays in our lives.

At Bowling Green State University, you can examine these aspects of media and communication and study the importance of communication through majors that include communication, journalism and public relations, and telecommunications.

While each major has a unique focus, they all interrelate. All emphasize the development of verbal and written skills, critical thinking, and the development of sensitivity to cultural differences both in and outside the United States.
