Some rules and regulations for parking on campus have changed, including the payment option for Lot N, visitor parking fees, citation appeals and what to do if you forgot your parking permit..
Pay and Display in Lot N has started
Two kiosks located at the south end of Lot N have replaced the 90+ meter heads previously situated in that location.
These kiosks accept dollar bills, coins, and credit/debit cards.
A receipt will print that will need to be placed face up on the dashboard of your vehicle.

In case you forget or misplace your permit, registered vehicles are eligible for one free day pass per academic year, which may be picked up at the Parking Services office. Additional day passes may be purchased for $5 each.
Visitor Parking Permits
A one-day visitor parking permit is available for $5. Departments can purchase one-day visitor permits in lots of 50 or more for $1 a permit.
Individuals issued parking violations and/or related fines may petition the penalty within 10 calendar days of the date of the citation.
Appeals must be submitted online at the Parking Services website www.bgsu.edu/parking. Only appeals submitted through the website will be reviewed.
A committee comprised of BGSU employees and students will review appeals. You will be notified by email of the committee's decision.
When applying for a parking permit this fall you were asked to list your preferred lots. This information will be used to better serve the parking needs of the campus and determine where there are issues that need to be addressed.
Parking Services will be moving to its new location within College Park on Dec. 13.
If you have questions about the new regulations, visit Parking Services' updated website, or call 2-2776.
