Leadership Safari

Description: You are invited to a NOT MISS PRESENTATION! This will be one of the most interactive and high energy experiences of your orientation. We will explore the dynamics of your college experience, develop a multitude of opportunities for success, and put you on a path to accomplishing your biggest personal and professional goals. Ryan’s presentations are laced with hilariousness and practical strategies for exceeding as a student leader. Ryan is the founder of Take Back College, is the author of Degree in Ninja - A Student’s Guide to Study, Strike and Succeed, and acts as the Director of Professional Development at the University of Minnesota’s Labovitz School of Business and Economics.

Passion and Commitment- Writing a Leadership Philosophy

Description: This workshop is open to all those interested in attending. It often seems like the world changes rapidly around us, as if there is very little we can count on. However, if we have established ideas about our own approach to life, our experience will be in our own hands! Come to this session and write your own statement/philosophy of leadership.

Leadership Academy

Location:  Olscamp 101
Description: Leadership Academy is the premier, annual leadership conference at Bowling Green State University. This one-day event that engages students in educational sessions targeted toward their leadership development. Participants have the opportunity to explore personal and leadership values, network with other campus leaders, and develop the skills necessary for success.
The conference begins with an opening session to introduce the day and provide a common foundation. Students then move to their assigned small group and take part in sessions designed to facilitate growth and success. In this intimate setting students learn from leadership experts and each other through personal knowledge and experience. Lunch is also provided.
Prizes will be given out to participants throughout the day.  Large prizes will be raffled at the closing session for participants who complete the entire day.
