What is the Housing Fair?

The BGSU Housing Fair has been an annual event for over the past 25 years. Off-Campus Student Services (OCSS) at BGSU coordinates the event, which has served as an opportunity to provide BGSU students with a wide variety of housing options and resources in the Bowling Green community, both on and off-campus. It has also served as an important setting in which to educate students about their rights and responsibilities with regard to living off campus.

How do I receive registration materials for the Housing Fair?

Registration materials will be sent by in October to all Property Management Companies currently listed on-line and other vendors. To list your agency, please contact our office at 419-372-2843 or via email at offcampus@bgsu.edu.

What is the registration fee?

The registration fee structure is outlined in the respective Registration form. Call our office for more information. 

What does the registration fee include?

The registration fee will include the following benefits:
- One 6 foot table per agency, a table-cloth, and two chairs
- Continental breakfast and coffee
- Buffet lunch for all agency representatives
- Convenient, free parking behind the Olscamp Hall

How do I pay the registration fee?

Registration payment is accepted by check, money-order, or cashiers check. For agencies that cannot pay with a check, please contact our office at 419-372-2843.

How will the Housing Fair be promoted to BGSU students and the campus community?

A variety of promotional methods will be used to promote the Fair:
- BGNews/BGViews.com;
- Online advertising: including the BGSU home page and Facebook;
- Posters and table-tents
- Campus-wide emails sent to all students, faculty and staff;
- Online University calendar; and
- Plasma television ads in the Bowen-Thompson Student Union and Dining Centers.

How many people attend the Housing Fair?

Over 1,400 students attended the Housing Fair since 2007.
