Students who use this interactive blackboard program can improve their GPA's significantly by meeting regularly with their OMA advisor or UNIV 1510 instructor. As students work through the Success Toolbox and use the tools recommended, they will become more self-confident, self-directed and self-assured when tackling their academic work. The OMA advisors team up with students to assist them in meeting their academic goals. Students feel more confident while making their university experience more enjoyable and rewarding.
Each participating student has access to the Success Toolbox community, which is an interactive learning community that provides learning videos, interactive and multimedia exercises and learning assessments to answer students’ most important questions on how to get good grades by using various learning strategies, gaining practical career advice, using campus resources and promoting their personal growth and fostering motivation.
