Diversity Peer Educators 


Mission Statement:
The Diversity Peer Educators are Bowling Green State University diversity student leaders who contribute to the creation of an inclusive campus community by educating and advocating for issues of diversity and inclusion among their peers.

Primary Goal:
To Lead by Example: The Diversity Peer Educators lead by being exemplar student diversity and inclusion leaders, advocates and allies while educating their peers about cultural awareness, diversity and inclusion in an effort to create more inclusive leaders on campus and in the community.

In order to become a Diversity Peer Educator, students need to enroll in UNIV 4100: Diversity Leadership. This course is available each Fall and Spring, and is focused on learning to be an effective social justice facilitator, diversity inclusion advocate, and leader to contribute to the creation of a welcoming campus environment and community. The Course is open to any BGSU student regardless of grade level.
