Department of Recreation and Wellness
The Wellness Connection at BGSU is committed to supporting healthy lifestyle behaviors through programs which incorporate all aspects of wellness.
Comprehensive services including free HIV testing, online tools and assessments, and educational opportunities that foster optimum health and wellness for BGSU students and the community.
The Wellness Connection’s main purpose is to provide education on general wellness issues, nutrition, alcohol, sexual health and sexual assault. A variety of programs and presentations are available on each topic and can be reserved for campus groups, residence halls and special events. These exciting, interactive programs are presented by health professionals and peer educators.
In our modern daily, stressful lives we catch ourselves creating anxiety about future events and worrying about past actions, living in a state of reactivity to external stressors. Experience benefits such as better focus and concentration, decreased stress and anxiety, and enhanced health by attending the mindfulness workshop.
