    • What advice do you have for those working with student leaders?
      • Student leaders have the opportunity to simultaneously learn, develop, and grow, while making positive changes in our community. My advice to those working with student leaders is to realize that academics are a priority and their leadership experience is meant to complement their academic endeavors rather than serve as a substitution for academic pursuits.  My other piece of advice for those working with student leaders is to take a look at the social change model of leadership development and begin to incorporate some of the best-practices in to their advising, mentoring, and supervising endeavors.
