Leadership Academy in Review
Over 130 students participated in Leadership Academy on Saturday, November 3rd. This one-day event was sponsored by the BGSU Center for Leadership, Fraternity and Sorority Life, the Office of Campus Activities, the Office of Residence Life, the Resident Student Association, and Omicron Delta Kappa.
The day began with students learning how to become social change agents and create change. During small group activities, students were able to delve deeper into the role and influence of values on ethical and passionate leadership. With the help of 34 facilitators, ranging from professional staff members to CSP graduate students to undergraduate student leaders, students learned about their personal values, ethics, and passion. The day was capped off with an outstanding closing session featuring student leaders from across campus.
The Center for Leadership would like to thank all of the facilitators for giving up their Saturday to be part of Leadership Academy as well as all of the offices and departments who donated items to be given away throughout the day.
