WellAware Health and Wellness

The WellAware Committee will host a spring health and wellness brown bag lunch series for BGSU faculty and staff. The series will be held in room 316 of the Bowen-Thompson Student Union from 12-1pm. Participants will be eligible for the Spring WellAware Faculty and Staff Wellness Incentive Program. The grand prizes for this program are a Nintendo Wii and Wii Fit! Events for the brown bag series include:

  • January 20, 2009: "Ask the Trainer" -- Meet BGSU's personal training staff and learn tips to add more physical activity to your day.
  • February 17, 2009: “Know your Numbers” Panel Discussion -- Talk with a panel of medical professionals about what your blood pressure, cholesterol and other important health numbers really mean and how to track them.
  • March 17, 2009: “Stealth Health” -- Tips and tools on how to make small changes to take charge of your health and make sure that you stay on track.
  • April 14, 2009: “Stress Management” -- Learn how to reduce stress and use stress-mapping tools.

A New Location for Wellness Connection

The Wellness Connection has moved. They are now located in room 214 of the Student Rec Center, right next to the basketball courts.  Please come visit them in their new home.
