19th Annual Gerald L. Saddlemire Lecture

 

The 19th Annual Gerald L. Saddlemire Lecture, co-sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and Department of Higher Education and Student Affairs, was held on Thursday, November 2, 2009.  Dr. Peter Rea , Director of the Center for Innovation and Growth and the Burton D. Morgan Chair for Entrepreneurial Studies at Baldwin-Wallace College, offered personal insights about higher education.  Dr. Rea is an alumnus of the Bowling Green State University College Student Personnel program (’81).  Dr. Rea used excerpts from his books on character-based leadership and reflected on his international travels to provide insight about higher education management.  He identified seven classical values that help individuals live a life of integrity and happiness.
