-- Senior at BGSU researching with Dr. Ray Larsen. My project deals with isolating bacteriophage from coliform bacteria in the environment. Heather is graduating in the spring of 2010 with a major in biology and plans to attend graduate school.

-- Senior at BGSU researching with Dr. Erin McMullin. Katelyn worked this summer studying genetic biodiversity in a species of African Cichlid through the Toledo Zoo. In effort to maintain a balanced ecosystem in Lake Victoria, it has been discovered that this fish is now struggling in the wild. Through the zoo, efforts are being made to ensure the generations they have are still genetically rich enough within the nine available generations.

Originally planning on a pharmacy major, Adam took an interest in herpetology as a child with fond childhood memories of frogs and reptile encounters. Volunteering in the herpetology lab throughout the previous academic year and brought him back into contact with these creatures where he met his mentor Dr. Underwood.

She is very involved in various student organizations including Undergraduate Students Senate the Greek Community and is a mentor to incoming freshman students.
