Presenter: Felicia Godbolt, Equal Opportunity Division, State of Ohio, Columbus, Ohio

Biography:

Felicia Godbolt has been employed in the state of Ohio for the last 22 years and is currently the manager of the Ohio Department of Administrative Services, Equal Opportunity Division’s, Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action Program.

She holds an Associate of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the Community College of the Air Force and a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Management and Organizational Leadership from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio.

After 20 years of service, she has retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in the Ohio Air National Guard from the position of Human Resources Advisor to the base Commander of the 121st Air Refueling Wing. In this position she provided diversity training to base personnel and analyzed issues impacting the bottom line concerning diversity recruitment and retention in a military culture.

She is a certified Master Compliance Administrator, certified by the American Contract Compliance Association. She enjoys sharing equal employment opportunity and diversity strategies and methodologies learned during her tenure in both the military and in the state of Ohio. In some capacity, she has been involved in researching, developing, implementing or evaluating Human Resources, Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Programs for the last 20 years.
